New release of Kenko PRO1D R-Natural Cross filter

Unlike conventional cross filters that create strong and dramatic light streaks, the PRO1D R-Natural Cross delivers a more restrained effect. The filter gently enhances highlights and reflections while maintaining a natural appearance, making it ideal for photographers who want to keep a cross filter mounted on their lens for everyday shooting.

The filter is particularly effective for reflections in glass, shimmering water surfaces, metallic objects, jewelry, accessories, and backlit scenes. Its delicate rendering helps add visual interest without overwhelming the image, making it suitable for a wide range of photographic styles.

One of the filter's most distinctive creative features is its ability to transform sunlight into rainbow-colored light streaks. By carefully positioning the sun and adjusting focus, photographers can create unique spotlight-like effects that draw attention to their subject and add a creative touch to outdoor images.

The "R-" designation indicates a rotating frame design that allows the angle of the cross effect to be adjusted freely. By rotating the front ring, photographers can fine-tune the direction of the light streaks and achieve the desired visual balance within the composition.
