New release of Kenko Anti-Fog filter series
Kenko Tokina Co., Ltd. is glad to announce a new Anti-Fog filter series.
Condensation is the biggest enemy in astrophotography. The usual countermeasure is to use a lens heater. However, when using lens filters, the filters exposed to the air also need to be heated. Since a lens heater warms indirectly from the outside of the lens, it is difficult to sufficiently heat the center of the filter.
The "Anti-Fog" series solves this problem by generating heat directly within the filter itself, enabling rapid heating all the way to the center.
The Anti-Fog series lineup includes 3 types: STARRY NIGHT, which is a light pollution cut filter that suppresses color cast from city lights, as well as HALF PROSOFTON Clear and PROSOFTON Clear, which are soft filters that make bright stars appear to glow.
