The Kenko Assist ARM Series is our life support product series for your everyday life. Kenko Assist ARM KS-WL is a wheelchair support accessory.

Generally, while riding in a wheelchair, users have to use their hands for pushing it. At times, this can be very bugging: every time users want to use their hands for something else, like e.g., checking a map on the tablet, they have to stop the wheelchair. We would like to find a way to solve this problem, which led us to the development of Kenko Assist ARM series. But with the Kenko Assist ARM, big problems like this can be solved easily, making daily life in a wheelchair much more comfortable. For example, great ways to use the Kenko Assist ARM is for attaching a tablet with the tablet holder, which allows you to look the map on the screen in front of you at any time, or enjoy shooting photos by attaching a camera to the tip of the pole. Through using a very strong clamp that can be attached to the wheelchair firmly, the risk of sudden disengagement while riding a wheelchair is very small. The angle and height can be freely adjusted to the preferences of the user. KS-WL has an extension pole can be attached to extend the range of motion.

The Assist ARM series is accessories that was developed in collaboration with the camera tripod manufacturer SLIK.

Since before, photographers have needed a high-performance function not stabilizing the camera like to shooting a best photography.

In the recent years, as cameras have become increasingly sophisticated and precise in terms of technology, the camera industry demands greater and more secure support of such high-precise photographic equipment. One of the tools that can provide such secure support are of course tripods.

By teaming up with SLIK, a company that has a long tradition in making strong tripods for all kinds of cameras and that can withstand all kinds of environments, we were able to bring in their know-how and technology when designing the "Assist ARM" series, making it an accessory with high precision and outstanding stability.

Therefore, Kenko Assist ARM is designed not only to eliminate inconveniences when moving with a wheelchair, but also to ensure maximum user safety.

FIRM ATTACH TO THE PIPE THANKS TO THE LARGE METAL CLAMP WITH TWO SIDE LOCKING SYSTEM

The clamp that can be attached to the pipe of the wheelchair is made of aluminum and is very robust, so the risk of it suddenly coming off when the wheelchair is moving is extremely small.

The clamp can be attached to round pipes (17-32mm) and square pipes (Square: 22-28mm, Rectangle: short side 15-25mm / long side 25-28mm).

* When attaching to a pipe with a diameter of 17-22mm, a rubber tube (included) has to be used for a firm grip.

ROSETTE GEAR FOR FIRM AND SECURE POSITIONING OF THE ARM

Rosette gear can adjust the angle of the arm. It can be set to a position that is comfortable for you.

LENGTH SCALE FOR CONVENIENT ADJUSTMENT OF THE ARM

A scale is printed on the surface of arm, which is useful when adjusting the height.

UNIVERSAL BALL-HEAD PROVIDES FREEDOM FOR ADJUSTMENT AND QUICK SET-UP

A universal ball-head provides freedom and allows precise adjustment.

The quick-release shoe also makes for a smooth set-up of gadgets such as iPad, iPhone, cameras, binoculars, and so on.

A coin is used for attaching the quick-release shoe plate to the camera.

* When attaching to the pipe which diameter 17-22mm, they also can attach to the pipe which diameter with the rubber tube(included).
