Kenko Tokina's Glass Aspherical Lens
We deliver reliable quality, because the glass aspherical lenses used in the binoculars of Kenko Tokina are molded in our own factory at Japan. The shape of glass aspherical lens is complex; therefore production by polishing as like spherical lens is difficult; production is done by using "Mold-Molding" method, where glass material is placed into a mold which is processed into a non-spherical shape and molded by heating (softening) and pressing. We have been producing glass mold lens of surface shape with high accuracy under the strict quality control in our factory at Japan. beenreduced by using many spherical lenses, can be eliminated with a single aspherical lens, therefore, sharp image of the surrounding can be obtained without decreasing the transmittance or coloration.
What is Aspherical Lens
Aspherical lens is made up complex curved surface which is not spherical or plane. Aberration which has Large-diameter eyepiece and high eye point With large diameter eyepiece of eye relief 19mm, easy to peep, you can enjoy a sharp image without vignetting to the peripheral surface even when with eyeglasses.
Robust aluminum diecast body
Adopted highly durable aluminum diecast body. Excellent weather resistance, no changes with time such as change of color or deformation and since there is no change in refractive index also, it is a life long product.Scratch resistant as material is hard. Excellent in heat resistance, no restriction of the place of use. Difference may occur in resolution quality or color balance.
