Incorporation of ED lens was a primary challenge for Kenko optical designers in order to minimize axial chromatic aberrations along with lateral chromatic aberrations and correct field curvature. As a result, clear and sharp image without color fringing, halos, diffraction, or distortion across the entire field of view.
All light transmissive surfaces of lens elements and prism are AR fully multi-coated. Additionally, phased coated prism integrates ultra-high reflective dielectric coated film that results in more than 94% better light transmission, natural color rendition and contrast.
