Main concept
The Kenko REAR PROSOFTON is a highly versatile sheet type soft filter, developed for star scape photography. The filter is designed to be attached to the rear mount of the lens by cutting the filter sheet to any size you like to fit the rear mount of the lens.
Development background
The majority of the super wide lenses for night scape photography cannot take common screw-type filter due to the bubble-shape front element of the lens. Besides, it is known that the front filter can lower the quality of the image by creating the phenomenon of starched stars in the periphery of the image. The solution is the rear type filter. There are many dedicated rear type filters on the market, but these filters are designed for a specific mount shape and are not versatile.

How to attach
Attach it in "Do It Yourself" style!
Note: Be sure that the filter will not overlap the electric contacts of the lens mount.
Precautions
This soft filter is used on the rear side of the camera lens. Cut the filter with a cutter or scissors and attach it to the dedicated filter holder on the lens mount, or use double-sided tape to apply to the lens mount surface. This product is easy to scratch, so please handle it with care.
